9th MICE Summit

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to participate in the 9th MICE Summit, held at the El Olivar complex and organised by Foro MICE. Under the theme “When the industry speaks with one voice”, this key annual event once again brought together industry professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.

Throughout the event, the different round tables and keynote sessions focused on some of the industry's main challenges, including the need for robust data that reflects not only the direct impact but also the broader value generated by the MICE sector, helping to further strengthen its recognition.

Among the attendees was Vicent Marí, who, as President of the Spain Convention Bureau, highlighted the role of Convention Bureaux as strategic positioning platforms for destinations: true orchestra conductors capable of fostering public-private collaboration and creating effective environments for cooperation.

A day that confirmed that when the industry speaks with one voice, the MICE sector moves forward with greater strength.
