600 medical specialists gather together at the Ibiza Conference Centre

On 26 and 27 May, the Ibiza Conference Centre (Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza) hosted the 10th National Endoscopy Congress organised by the Spanish Gynaecology and Obstetrics Society (SEGO).

 

For a number of days, Ibiza became a national reference point for endoscopy and gynaecological laparoscopy due to this noteworthy conference, which brought together some 600 delegates from different centres throughout Spain.

 

 

The conference posed a significant organisational challenge, because in addition to theoretical lectures, practical workshops were given and surgical interventions were broadcast live from several hospitals.

 

The event was held in the Ibiza Conference Centre, located in Santa Eulalia del Rio in a natural environment just a few metres from the sea. Launched in 2008, this venue includes an auditorium, an exhibition area and 14 ancillary areas, all of which have served to put Ibiza on the map as a destination for professional meetings.
