Ibiza Convention Bureau holds its Annual Assembly and elects a new President

On 14 March Ibiza Convention Bureau held its Annual Assembly, attended by over 30 associated companies as well as political representatives from the island's tourism sector.

The event was held in the Pachá hotel and included a summary of the work the bureau has done over the last year and a presentation of its proposals for 2019, which will see Ibiza Convention Bureau continue to promote Ibiza as a destination for meetings and incentive trips through attendance at fairs, presentations and workshops aimed at the MICE industry as well as familiarisation trips for specific agents.

Ibiza Convention Bureau currently has 53 associated companies and in recent months has added new services to its portfolio.

 

New Board

During the Assembly, elections were held for the Governing Board of the Ibiza Convention Bureau for the coming years. The new Governing Board will be led by René Hoeltschl, representing ME Hotel Ibiza. Hoeltschl has held the position before and is well acquainted with how the association works and the MICE sector on the island. The Governing Board now also includes representatives of the following companies.
