The Ibiza Convention Bureau seeks clients in the French market

 

The Ibiza Convention Bureau unveiled the island's attractions to 22 French event buyers and organisers based in Paris, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Lyon, during a promotion that took place in Seville on the 19th of September.

 

 

Estimates suggest that meetings and events tourism turns over more than 8.5 billion Euros a year in France. As far as the French are concerned and with the exception of France itself, when it comes to organising such events, Spain is the number one preferred destination. Some 30% of all events held in 2013 took place in our country. French organisers and companies prefer destinations that are close at hand and have good reception facilities.

 

This "Meeting in Reverse" was organised by the Spain Convention Bureau in collaboration with the Spanish Tourism Office in Paris.
