Ibiza brings together 400 medical specialists in a national conference

On 9 and 10 May, the Ibiza Congress Centre was the scene of the 30th Annual Meeting of the Department of Haemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology. This prestigious meeting was organised by the Spanish Society of Cardiology and takes place in a different city each year.

During the conference, the current position of interventional cardiology was reviewed, but with particular emphasis on the fields of research and innovation. During the meeting, other important subjects (apart from research and innovation) were addressed, including different perspectives on research with medical devices, the main polemics in interventional practice, and innovations in interventional pharmacology.
