Ibiza hosts the National Business Tourism Meeting and the Assembly of the Spain Convention Bureau

 

Spain is the fourth leading country in the world for conferences, congresses and conventions, only behind the United States, Germany and Great Britain. To consolidate this leadership position and to improve the offer, professionals from the sector met in Ibiza as guests of the Spain Convention Bureau (SCB), the association that brings together Spain's most important business tourism destinations.

 

 

The only association of its kind in Spain, this network of cities has invested in international promotion since its creation over three decades ago.

 

During the seminars, participants analysed event organisation in Spain and how the VAT regulation affects them; new commercial and production formats with which to reach international markets; effective management in congress offices and a workshop on innovation. The event finished with the Annual Meeting.
