Audi chooses Ibiza for the global launch of a new model

The car manufacturer Audi has chosen Ibiza as the venue for its global convention and for the launch of its new models. Ibiza was preferred to Milan in the final stage of the process to choose this year's venue.

 

The event took place during the second fortnight of October and attracted some 2,000 people to the island. Each group of approximately 200 people was able to spend two days enjoying the island's attractions. The guests were accommodated in three hotels, the Aguas de Ibiza Lifestyle & Spa, the ME Ibiza and the Torre del Mar.

 

The FECOEV exhibition centre was chosen as the venue for the central part of the event while other public spaces were turned into a racetrack.

 

This event has demonstrated Ibiza's ability to organise major corporate events. The island has an interesting track record as a location for automobile launches, and brands such as Seat, Volkswagen or Renault have held international events here.
